The mission of the Plastics CAE Center is to educate plastic injection molders and plastics-related companies on the benefits of using computer-aided engineering filling simulation software. Members learn the technology through consortium meetings and workshops, which are presented at Penn State Erie, and through individual flow analysis project work.

The Plastic CAE Center, located on the campus of Penn State Erie, The Behrend College, allows its members to takes the guess work out of the decision to acquire CAE technologies. The center provides training, expertise, and hands-on experience with minimal financial risk.

Members:

• have the opportunity to experience CAE technology first hand,
• are invited to attend regular training sessions, and
• can call upon the expertise of the CAE Center staff members.
